Buying a house can seem like a daunting task because it’s a big decision and it can be hard to determine where you should start. Today, I am going to tell you the first steps you should take to make buying a house as easy as possible. Watch today’s video to find out more.

“Hey guys, if you’re thinking about buying a house, I’m going to give you the first three steps that I would take as a buyer to ensure the experience goes very well. Number one, you want to meet with a realtor. Find a five-star or close-to review of a realtor or a team, call them up, and ask if you can do a buyer presentation. If they act like they don’t know what a buyer presentation is, they’re probably not the right team or agent for you.
Step two, you want to get prequalified with a lender. Typically, your realtor will recommend one, and hopefully, it will be a local one. I like local people better because you can sit in front of them and ask them a bunch of questions. The lender is going to tell you how much you’re qualified for, how to boost that, what your monthly payment will look like. It’s everything you’re going to need to know to know what price range you should be looking in.
Step three, your realtor should narrow down the neighborhoods for you guys to be searching in. I would go out and drive the neighborhoods. So many times I’ve talked to sellers where they were not happy with their neighborhood because it was the first time they were ever there and they didn’t get a good feel for it.
