There’s a new neighborhood with a lot of homes in West Fort Worth called Palmilla Springs. Today, we’re going to take an in-depth look at this neighborhood and the new homes being built in it.
There are three builders currently building new homes in this neighborhood: HistoryMaker, Sandlin, and Meritage. Each builder’s houses in this neighborhood start at around $300,000, but let’s look at each one in-depth.
Starting at $300,000
This builder offers the widest range in prices of the three. They offer both the least expensive homes in the neighborhood as well as the most expensive. On the lower end, houses start at around $300,000. On the higher end, they cost around $500,000.
They also have the most customization options with their new builds. Buyers can choose if they want to buy a house on a 40-acre lot or a 50-acre lot. Buyers are then able to choose from houses with 3 to 8 bedrooms, 2 to 5 bathrooms, and a garage. Their various floor plans range from approximately 1,296 to 3,943 square feet. These are the largest homes available in the neighborhood.

Starting at $311,000
If you don’t need quite so many bedrooms or bathrooms, Meritage Homes offers smaller houses. Meritage offers homes with 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3 full bathrooms, and a two-car garage. Because they offer fewer rooms, their homes range from 1,226 to 2,356 square feet. This range makes them the smallest homes available in the neighborhood.

Starting at $350,000
If you like to have extra spacious rooms, Sandlin Homes offers houses that are slightly larger than Meritage Homes with a similar number of rooms. This means that each room is slightly larger than what Meritage offers in their homes. They are slightly more expensive, but Sandlin can be a great option if you’re looking for extra space. Sandlin offers houses with 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3 full bathrooms, and a two-car garage. They have houses that range from 1,557 to 2,496 square feet.

Palmilla Springs is located off of I-30 just outside of Fort Worth. Because the neighborhood is located conveniently off the highway, Palmilla Springs offers easy access to all of the city’s amenities. Whether you want to visit Fort Worth’s award-winning zoo, the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards, or enjoy the nightlife downtown, you can get there easily from this neighborhood.
Of course, the neighborhood itself has several amenities including a dog park, paved trails, and a playground for families with young children. Three Fort Worth ISD schools are located within six miles of the neighborhood, including Waverly Park Elementary, Leonard Middle School, and Western Hills High School. Another school called Uplift Elevate Preparatory School is within walking distance of the neighborhood.
